Shortly: Telus Device contract Oct 11 2020 - Oct 11 2022 Telus Device balance Sept 11 2022 - 0.00 Telus bill Sept 18 2022 still charging for the fully paid device. Is this extra charge happening because the contract end-date runs beyond the fully paid date? This date discrepancy hasn't happened to me before; always the bill following the fully paid status has automatically dropped the device amount. I have a support call-back for this morning to get some clarification. The hassle of that is annoying. There has to be a better way. Contracts and billing can be confusing when dates between the app and the PC site differ by a day for contracts, and sometimes a month or two for payments received. My phone contract has the end date of Oct 11 or 12 2022, depending where you look, but it was paid off Sept 11 // 12, balance went to 0, but my bill right now doesn't reflect that 0, still charging me for the device for another 24 days from today, so one extra device payment when my device balance is 0. It's very confusing, mostly because the trademark symbol gets in the way. On my order, Telus said I'd repay the Bring It Back TM amount, and only one amount had the TM.
