Hey everyone,

 

Just a heads-up for anyone thinking about upgrading to the new boxes over the old Arris ones—I'd think twice.

Honestly, I don't even know where to start with how bad this new service is. It's literally worse than what we had in the early 2000s. The Telus TV app keeps disappearing, and I have to reconnect the box to my account by calling customer service.

 

As many others have mentioned, the picture quality, especially for sports, is terrible. They keep saying they're "working on it," but given how long they've been saying that, it's not promising.

The guide is awful too. It takes forever to load as you scroll through channels, especially when searching for future shows.

I really wish I could cancel, but I signed a contract after moving and didn't have enough time to realize how bad it was before my cancellation window closed.

 

Just wanted to share my experience so others can make an informed decision.
