Ask to see their identification badge and verify the vendor company name. Legitimate vendors will provide this information without hesitation.

Warning Signs of Fraud

Never provide personal information or payment to anyone who requests cash upfront, cannot provide proper identification, pressures you for immediate decisions, or refuses to let you verify their credentials. TELUS and authorized vendors never ask for cash payments at the door.
