Say first you want to watch something on the PVR You have to hit Home>Right arrow>Right arrow>Right arrow>Enter Then Down>Down>Down> however many times to find your recorded show (it sorts newest first so that's fine at this point) BUT THEN since you have no way to change the episode list of your favorite show as "oldest first" (without changing the recording show titles as well) You must Down Arrow>Down Arrow>Down Arrow>Down Arrow>Down Arrow> however many episodes to get to your first unwatched episode (typicall at the very bottom of the list) REDICULOUS!! But it's even more ridiculous when you're finished watching your show as there's NO EMBEDDED DELETE FUNCTION So when finished you have to hit OK, then Home>Right arrow>Right arrow>Right arrow>Enter into PVR Down>Down>Down> however many times to find your show ENTER, then Down>Down>Down> however many times to find your recording then OK when you finally given the choice to DELETE You hit DELETE then again "DELETE RECORDING So after watching a PVR show you must to hit at least FOURTEEN Remote keypresses just to delete the show you just finished watching. Can't this piece of garbage show a delete button right after you hit OK? Cant it offer a delete function when you reach the end of a recording? REDICULOUS This remote and user interface is the most inept that I've ever seen! <rant over>138Views0likes3CommentsMy Favorite Channels and Recording Settings?
With respect to Optik TV+ 21T boxes, the persistent issues with My Favorites and Recording Settings/Options are in their 2nd year. Is it asking too much: Telus, if you are reading this, are there any resolutions in the works? If so, any updates or ETA? Is cable TV still part of your mission? Last I checked it's still a line item on my monthly Home/Internet Services bill. Cable TV appears to have taken a back seat, or perhaps not even seated next, to Streaming and OnDemand services. Not looking for Amazon Fire Stick just a Telus Glow Stick would suffice for now. A non-complicated, unencumbered TV viewing experience is not a lot to ask; considering, we are committed to 2yr plans for just that!2.3KViews1like4Comments
