Re: Telus Charging me for a service I don't have
I came across your post as I was looking on how to file a complaint of experiencing the same situation. I never post to these forums but am beyond livid and will be moving my own 30 year accounts from Telus permanently. June 2024 I phoned and cancelled all services of my deceased father; within 3 days there was no dial tone or wifi so cancellation happened. I returned equipment in July as instructed on their June email. Statements were immediately changed to reflect 'Estate of' yet continued to add monthly full services every month. I returned statements with notes, and phoned in August, September, November, and again today, discovering that they don't keep notes of every call, use their 'canned' phrases of sympathy, and take zero responsibility; I can't keep thinking about his death every time I get another bill so I paid the bill - for no services - after the rep assured me they would go after the Estate if not paid. Telus should be ashamed and embarrassed of how they treat their customers. I will be filing formal complaint to Telus, CCTS, and anywhere else I can so this doesn't keep happening .
