Re: Legitimacy of this number
I guess I didn’t explain my case very well. The plan wasn’t $35 upfront. But it started at 45 and I use the family discount because I need three lines. And one was being put on hold. So I believe seven dollars a month for six months and it was 120 gigs unsharable it was the essential plan from the website. AnyWho. So the agent won’t ask. Information on. The phone, but would they be transferred to a dedicated line? To give information or would be done online via email. And is there a way to do it in the Telus app to finalize plan details?9.6KViews0likes2CommentsLegitimacy of this number
Good evening, I was looking at RedFlagDeals and came across a post about a promotion. I called the number +1 866-558-4146 and was transferred to the sales department, then to the loyalty department. A representative mentioned pricing of $30 per month for 120GB of 5G data, along with U.S. and Canadian calling. I asked for a callback later that day and again later that week as I was interested in potentially switching from Rogers. The representative called me back from what appeared to be an official number, but I’m feeling a bit wary because people on the internet have mentioned this could be a scam. I want to know if there are ways to verify the legitimacy of the offer when I talk to her tomorrow. For example, should I ask for an employee ID or reference number? I’ve read that some companies consider it against protocol to provide certain information, and representatives might hang up if you ask for it—but I could be wrong. Let me know if I’m being too skeptical. Honestly, it’s better to be safe than sorry when handing over personal information.Solved11KViews0likes8Comments
