Home Security
How can I cancel my home security. I’ve had TELUS home security for a few years now so there shouldn’t be a big cancellation fee. Each time I call I’m put over to loyalty program then wait on hold for hours and hours. I waited nearly 3 hours once only to be disconnected and then have to start the whole process all over again!!! I’ve tried multiple times to cancel this service but the only way is to wait on hold for loyalty program so they can try and talk you out of it. There must be some other way other than waiting hours on hold?? TELUS has the worst customer service of any business I’ve ever dealt with!!!!!! Their apps don’t work, their customer service phone reps are all like robots…”I’m so sorry you went through that”…254Views0likes1CommentNeighbourhood Replies
To I got a response from my post here in the Telus Neighbourhood from Telus but the ‘Reply to’ does not match the sender?? Is this a scam? It’s sent from an email: [email protected] the Reply to email is: bhzof35755.prod|86800f0a|defae4aa-27aa-4ae4-86de-697243e203d8@replybyemail.usw2.prod.hosted.lithcloud.com This doesn’t seem legit! I’m not replying! Beware!537Views0likes1CommentRe: Every support issue takes multiple calls and hours to resolve
Firstly, Telus is a communications company that fails to communicate within its’ own departments. I set up an Internet & Telus TV install a month in advance. A few days later I got a text from Telus saying the cable boxes would be shipped directly to me prior to my service appointment. Two weeks went by and no cable boxes arrived. I called Telus and was told not to worry the ‘tech’ would bring them on the install date. I wondered why Telus sent me a text saying otherwise, so I called back a couple of days later. Another Telus agent (human) said not to worry the ‘tech’ would bring them on the date of install. The install date arrived. I confirmed with the tech that he was going to instal Internet and Telus TV. He had a puzzled look and said ‘No, I only have an assignment for an Internet install!’ Ugh!!! I arranged this a month in advance at a Telus store so thing would go smoothly. Nothing went smoothly. He said I would have to use an extension cord to plug the internet hub into an electrical outlet. I would also have to secure it to the wall and around a garage door. Did he help!??? No!! He eventually got an assignment for Telus TV after speaking with a Telus agent. He set up the TV’s and said he programmed the remote and I would only need to use the Telus remote. He left and did no teaching as to how to navigate through the new Telus TV with the new remote. Zero customer service from this tech!! And to top it off Telus has now charged me $200 for Labour-CWC!! I’m furious!! I was never told about a $200 labour charge or a $175 equipment relocation fee (they refunded this amount after I disputed it). Oh, then a week later, AFTER my install date, two Telus cable boxes arrived in the mail!!!!! It’s mind boggling how inept & inefficient Telus really is. Their customer service is NON-EXISTENT!!976Views0likes0Comments
