Door to door - Legit or not
Two guys came around 3:45 pm today. Asked me about that if I wish to change my internet service from Shaw to Telus. they offered me $90 / month with 3gig speed and netflix and amazon prime free for 2 years. With additional $25/$30 they also offered me home security service with door bell camera and sensors. They seem legit to me. But now reading some subreddits I became a bit confused. They took my personal details and also my shaw account number as they said they will take care of the contract with Shaw. Afterwards one of them called me from a number which show Telus (+1 (236) 427-4887) and recored the conversation. I got a bit scared at this time and was thinking that it might be a scam. Could you please check if there was a door to door sales activity today near Fleetwood neighbourhood Surrey BC?1.4KViews0likes2Comments
