Credit Reporting Agencies
I understand why Telus would pull a credit report when establishing a new account. That's a normal business practice. What I do not understand is why Telus reports the account activity each month to Transunion and Equifax when the account is setup for automatic payment IN FULL. I am prepaying the account half a month in advance NOT using any Telus credit facilities. Other accounts like Internet, Cable TV, Electricity, Heat, Water & Sewer are managed in a similar basis...payment in full each month. None of them report to Credit Agencies.
