Good luck. The support here messaged me and was supposed to call me which they attempted once and the call failed and I never heard from them again. I got tired of the trouble so I escalated it. The voicemail I got from that still didn’t say why they weren’t matching it but they were going to give it to me because I’d been a “loyal customer”. Still having issues though because I just got my bill and now I’ve been charged 2x $25.84 and 1x $32.84 in one month for the financing for one phone. It’s never ending lol. I just got an email back today saying my price request was denied!! The email just says “my account does not meet the criteria” and with no explanation.I will be calling about that as there’s no reason why it shouldn’t be. I received an email today saying the exact same thing - that “my account does not meet the criteria” for the price match and it does not explain why other than to say I can call in to TELUS for further clarification regarding the policy. I went back and read the webpage re the price match and I don’t understand why I don’t qualify. I applied under EPP, I got my phone on the 23 by calling into TELUS and I inquired about whether prices would drop further on Black Friday and I was specifically told that if they did dropped within 30 days that I could send in a price match. So when they dropped on Black Friday I sent in a price match on the 30th. I’m not matching a competitor or something, it’s the same phone, it’s within 30 days, it’s an EPP account. I don’t understand what doesn’t qualify. I’ve already spent 15+ hours on the phone with TELUS over the past two months dealing with several issues and don’t want to have to call again with something they could have put in the email. Instead they have taken almost 6 weeks to get back to me which has left me unable to get out of the trial period and stuck in a contract with a company that I am extremely frustrated with after the numerous issues I’ve dealt with over the last several weeks. This isn’t the first time I’ve been told one price and then it changes. I was with Roger’s for 4 years and never once had an issue or had to call them!! But I decided to switch to save a few extra bucks as our home services are either TELUS. I was told the discount would be $20/mth, but then I read it was only $15 based on my plan. When it didn’t appear on my bill I again had to call in but I was told it would only be $10/mth not $15. You get tired of fighting and arguing and spending hours on the phone so I gave up. When I try to watch anything On Demand on any of our boxes the error “Licensing not acquired” and code 0-80004005 comes up. I’m still able to watch On Demand through the OptikTV app though. I’ve tried restarting the boxes, modem etc several times and nothing seems to be working. I tried the chat and it tells me to call in. I’m trying to avoid calling in as I don’t have the time to be on the phone while they tell me to try unplugging and plugging everything back in when I’ve already done that.
