Re: What has happened to YTV?
I had completely put this out of my mind as life gets busy. But I still want to know when it was moved, and why it can be watched on the Telus TV+ app as part of my subscribed channels. It just seems strange, as I have been a subscriber to Telus TV or its approximation since 2006, and YTV was always part of the basic channels that everyone got without choosing theme packs. Like I said, it's not a channel that I watch very often, but occasionally we have children as guests, and it was nice to have a channel that they could watch.167Views0likes1CommentWhat has happened to YTV?
I recently had some small kids visit, so I tried to go to YTV, either channel 600 or 613, and it told me that I was not subscribed to them. They are part of the Essentials package, and all info I can find online says that they are, but my set top box won't let me watch them. I can watch them on the Telus TV+ app on my laptop, which says they are subscribed, so what is going on?288Views0likes4CommentsVideo on Demand choice will not play
Good morning. I had not realized that the program Surreal Estate was going to have a 3rd season, and did not have it set up to record. Once I realized, I set it up, and wasn't terribly worried, because CTV Sci-fi is on video on demand, and when I checked, episode 1 of season 3 is listed there. Great, go about my day, plan to watch it later. However, when I try to watch it, it comes up with an error, tells me it can't be watched right now, and try again later. I have been trying it off and on for the last few days, but it still won't work. Episode 2 is up now, and it works fine, but I really would like to watch episode 1 first. Who or where is this supposed to be reported to? There isn't a whole lot of direction on the app when things aren't working. I spoke too soon. It's been happening again for the last 4 days, Just randomly starting while we watch tv, or turning it on in the morning and its on the start page, asking who's watching. It happened while we were watching recorded programs. And also at some point during the time we were sleeping, as I would turn on the tv in the morning and it would be on the opening screen. It has not happened in the last two weeks though. We don't have prime apps on our phones, and generally are not on them while watching tv. I haven't had it happen since I posted about it. So apparently talking about it will stop it from happening! 🙂 It's been 2 weeks or so since it last happened, so hopefully it stops happening for you. I didn't do anything to my boxes, so I'm hoping it was a glitch.. Good luck.19KViews0likes2Comments
