Why am I being penalized for being a loyal customer? I want to upgrade to Optik tv evolution but because I’m a current customer I can’t upgrade. That just seems like a big F you for being a loyal customer.
I was able to upgrade to the new box but I don’t get the pvr function anymore because I’m on the legacy Optik tv system. I can still watch tv and use apps but not being able to record a show to watch later is unacceptable for me.
Well I was able to get my hands on the new android boxes however I can’t upgrade to Evolution because I’m a current subscriber using the legacy system. I wanted the option to install apps that I would find useful like Disney+ and Apple TV+.
So after 4 days and numerous phone calls to TELUS I learned I’m not eligible to order their new tv service called Optik Core because I have what they call Optik Legacy. To be eligible for core I have to be a new subscriber. I can’t even cancel my ser...
