Migration to Third Party Router - will this approach work?
Hey Everyone, I’m planning to change over to a third party router. I just want to confirm my understanding is correct. Currently running on a T3200 with Booster APs. Ideally I would like to avoid an internet outage while I get the new router and hardware configured. Obviously I first need to set the T3200 into port 1 bridge mode. When I do that I think my old booster network (connected to port 2-4) should keep running as normal temporarily. I should then be able to take my time configuring the new hardware until I am ready to turn off the old boosters and move everything to the new hardware. In the future if I need to access the T3200 for any reason I should just be able to direct connect to port 2-4. Is this actually correct? Thanks!2.2KViews0likes1Comment- 9.6KViews0likes0Comments
IPV6 Support
Hi There, Trying to get a clear answer on this as calling tech support did not get me anywhere. Does Telus support IPv6 connectivity? My router (t3200) is set up as per the instructions others have used in this forum but I am constantly stuck in a "connecting" state but never connect on the WAN port. Is IPv6 rolled out across the network or is this something still in progress?9.8KViews0likes5CommentsRe: TELUS My Wi-Fi App does not recognize my boost netwok
Seeing the same behaviour with my 2 boost pods. Both hardwired via Ethernet and both with solid blue light. Last I checked a couple months ago they were showing up in the app fine. Nothing has changed in terms of my physical setup.3.9KViews0likes0Comments
