What iPhones will be able to work post deactivation of 3G, 4g LTE networks?
Hey I just watched this YouTube video and I started investigating as to when and where Canada will be affected and it’s a hodgepodge of dates and locations but tentatively all comple by 2025. I’m mainly interested in apple devices and elderly devices that use these systems currently as that’s what I use but also think about smart traffic light/camera control and monitoring that piggybacks on this network and millions other devices most don’t know exist that I’m bound to not discuss, but as a electrician I’ve seen some stuff and gone through many doors opening my mind into how tech is used in our current world. Willing to accept a list of devices that will work from all brands/device types or a list of what and where the cutoff will be for certain manufacturers, but as the video said finding this out is strictly Carrier based and region and also where you got you device and the modem firmware installed. Will telus release a firmware update to help? Thanks too all that reply with constructive answers. Cheers!Solved12KViews0likes2CommentsRe: Wi-Fi 6 Modems
I know as much that they are in the testing stage and are replacing the boosters with a new wifi6 mesh system as the (trash can) router that acts as a boost has been a complete flop. I’ve been trying to get up higher in the media chain to know What’s going on and hopefully one day I can be a beta tester for them cause boy do I have some input and frankly would just want to sink bell further into the ground tech wise.5.5KViews0likes0Comments
