When will smart steering have an off switch?

On the new telus wifi hub there is no way to disable smart steering or "smart wifi".I want to see both wifi networks.Fix with firmware update please?

Good lord why?Are they going to fix this?I wanted to keep this new "wifi hub" but not if it locks me out of features
