Cannot connect to some website using home internet
Hi I have weird issue with my home internet, Telus Purefiber Gig This never happened before, until today. I cannot connect to some websites, legitimate website for business and school. I get ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT If I turn off wifi and use mobile data on my phone, it's connects fine, but not on home wifi. I have same problem on all devices at home, including PC which is connected direct to the Telus modem with cable. I do not have any 3rd party router/extender. I'm only using Telus modem/wifi I've tried rebooting the modem, as well resetting to factory default, reset firewall setting to default, in Telus modem admin tool. I've tried on both Chrome and Edge, same problem. I did not change any setting before this issue started. I am using Bitdefender Total Security on my PC but I don't think that's blocking the website since it is not installed on my mobile devices, and mobile devices have same issue. I have confirmed with my friends, they have no issue connecting to these websites. I have check with the website company and they do not have any issue on their end. Hi I need 2nd Telus wifi booster, where can I get one? I got 1st one at no charge when technician came to install my internet. Recently moved to new place and got 1Gb + Optik TV. All the devices I have, hard wired directly to the modem, is getting speedtest around 450Mbps, about half of what I should be getting. Before at my old place, I had same 1Gb plane, no TV, and i was able to get over 900Mbps on same devices... Only difference now is new place and Optik TV option. Hi Just moved into new home(Quick connect installed in the panel) last week and signed up for 1Gbps plan /w optik tv. But I'm only getting about 400Mbps download according to SpeedTest. possible to freeze my account for 6 months?
Hi I'm in to few months of my 2 year contract, but I just sold my house and I don't move into my new house for another 6 months. I'm going to live temperately with family and they already have internet. Is it possible to put my account on "hold" mode, not pay any monthly charges, until I move into new home?
