I am experiencing the exact same problem. Haven’t found a solution, and also posted about this a few days ago. So you are not alone. And you are probably doing nothing wrong. It appears to be a problem with either Optik TV or the Alexa Skill. It sure would be nice if Telus took this (or any tech problems) seriously.
