Re: Wi-Fi Hub Bridge Mode Issues.
Hey Gras, I was just wondering how did you fix your slow wifi on bridge mode? I having the same issues right now. I have 1 gig internet and am getting barely 80 mbps/80mbps on 2.4 ghz and about 300/300 on 5ghz. My setup is ONT > T3200m > Linksys EA9300. The T3200m is bridged with port 1 and wireless radio is off, letting the EA9300 handle the wifi. My speeds are way worse compared to what my t3200m was getting on wifi!17KViews0likes3Comments2.4 ghz is slow on EA9300 bridged with T3200m
Hey all, First of all I’m not a techie and I am going absolutely insane trying to fix the slow 2.4ghz wifi at my house. I just bought a Linksys EA9300 and bridged my t3200m so that the Linksys EA9300 can handle the wifi. I turned the wireless radio off on the t3200m and turned on port 1 bridge. I have 940/940 Telus Fibre Internet. After completing this setup: ONT > T3200m > Linksys EA9300m, my wired speed on from the EA9300m is reaching 1gig speeds. My 5ghz network is reaching okay speeds of around 200 mbps upload and 300 mbps download, but the 2.4ghz network is clearly struggling. I am currently getting around 70mbps/70mbps upload and download from the Linksys EA9300. The EA9300 is capable of 750 mbps on the 2.4 ghz network but is barely getting 70 mbps. WHY??? I played with the channels, reset the router, tried nearly everything but nothing worked. I have to keep the t3200m bridged because my optik TVs are plugged into it. I really some help with this, so if anyone could help me that would be very much appreciated! Thanks guys1.7KViews0likes0CommentsCan I use the web6000q extender with third party router
Hello, I am going to be buying an Asus RT-AC86U router to replace my T3200m. I am replacing the t3200m because it is not very reliable and has significant drops throughout the day. I currently have gigabit internet 940/940 and am only getting speeds capping at 350 mbps on most of my wireless devices. I learned that this is probably normal, but the drops that it has at 11pm where the Internet is 5mbps/5mbps is probably not normal. My main question is, in order for me to save a little bit of money, can I connect the Web6000Q extender to my new Asus AC86U somehow? I currently have my web6000q connected to my t3200m and it is achieving wifi speeds of about 500/430 which is pretty decent. Any help would be appreciated!1.6KViews0likes0CommentsCan I replace the t3200m with Asus rt-86u and still have optik tv working
Can I replace my actiontec t3200m with a Asus rt-86u? My actiontec t3200m has been replaced twice in the last two months due to the wifi dropping to 5mbps/5mbps when it should be 300/300. Unfortunately, it is now giving me 5mbps upload and download again even though it should be 300/300. I have Telus Fibre 300/300 and Telus Optik TV. Will the Asus Rt-86u completely replace the t3200m? I have simply had enough of the t3200m and the Asus Rt-86u seems to be quite decent. I’m quite new at this stuff, so any help would be greatly appreciated.Solved9.7KViews0likes6Comments
