Telus TV+ with the Apple TV version 17.2 not working
I had two of my AppleTV's upgrade to tvOS 17.2 today, and the Telus TV+ app loads the splash screen and then exits back out to the home screen on the Apple TV. Has others seen this? Ive done the usual things. (reboot the AppleTV, and deleted and downloaded the Telus TV+ app). but I cant get it to work.

MoCA standard with new Telus NH20T and Boost wifi 6E
Hi Does anyone know if the version of MoCA with the new NH20T and the Boost Wifi 6E is using MoCA 2.5, or is it 2.0? I’m thinking of upgrading my old MoCA 2.0 adapters if the new devices are using 2.5 Thanks!

How to return the Google digital tv box
I have recently upgraded to the new Telus TV+ service. I was sent a single Google digital box, which I don’t need, since the TVs in my household have an AppleTV attached to them. Is there a way I can send the Google box back to Telus? Calling support seems to make them think I want to cancel the service which I don’t want to do

TELUS My Wi-Fi App does not recognize my boost netwok
I have just run into a problem recently where the Telus My WiFi app will not show my 5 wifi boosters that I have on my network. All 5 of my boosters are hard wired throughout my house with the TELUS moca adapters, and they work great. For some reason, I suddenly could not see any of my boosts anymore, and the WiFi app shows no boosts. I know they are working, since I have disabled the Actionet routers internal WiFi off, and I only use the boosts for wifi. I did try deleting the app and re-downloading it, still could not get the boosts to show up. I also tried unplugging and plugging in the boost that's hooked up to my router directly, and no change there. I had a spare boost that I tried to swap out, to see if I could recognize it, and the setup steps would not recognize it in the app. Im really thinking there is a problem with the wifi app. (possibly an update that broke it). One of the things Im prompted for is to make sure the app has local access to my network (iPhone version of the app). and the app does have access to the local network. If it didn't, I expect I would not be able to see my other devices on my network in the app. Anyone else has seen this problem?

Hi Airwick I took a different approach here. I have been a TELUS customer for quite a while, but making a couple changes with my home network over a year ago has vastly improved my wifi performance. This is what I did. I have tried several different third party solutions (linksys, netgear etc, with use of repeaters) and really trying to move data wirelessly through the house, and there was never a good solution that I could get to work (wasted hours, wasted weekends tweaking networks, and wasted money) What I did was have a TELUS installer come back into the house, and we ended up installing a moca adapter where each of my five TV's are (since there was a coax port where the TV was), which then connected to an Optik TV portal and a TELUS Boost with an ethernet switch. I also plugged a moca adapter into my office and have a switch in that room for all my wired devices in my office. I also turned off all wifi settings on my ActionNet router, so all the wifi is handled via the TELUS Boost nodes across the house, and I have 5 of them (which appears to be the max amount of boosts you can use) When running tests via fast.com, my wired devices show a speed rate of 1Gb, and my Apple mobile devices typically show a speed of at least 500mb from anywhere in the house. TELUS wont give out those moca adaptors for free, and I find installers will not offer them as an alternative since they can be pricy. It had a cost of about $75 per drop in my house for each of the moca adapters, and the ActionNet router has the coax adapter right on the back of the modem. In total, it was well over $700 (adapters and boosts) to get myself set up with the extra hardware from TELUS, and the beauty of it is.... 1) Optik TV has never worked better across the house (since it's all wired, not wireless) since I do have 5 TV's 2) I never hear complaints about the internet in the house 3) TELUS supports all the networking hardware, and they can troubleshoot all this remotely. If there is a problem with it, they will fix it 🙂 4) I get some of my life back, since Im not spending hours of time trying to troubleshoot a third party wireless system that just wont perform the way I want it. Recommended 3rd party DNS service for Optik Internet?
Hi all, Is there a recommended 3rd party DNS service that I can use with Telus (OpenDNS etc) that has family filtering? - Its only for accidental viewing, I don't have people in my house that will try and work around the filtering, and set up a proxy bypass... - I also don't want the service to interfere with any Telus OptiK provisioning and updates to our TV portals. I remember in the past that I had to revert back to the Telus default DNS servers so provisioning could complete with one of my portals. It would be nice to have an optional family filter DNS, that could be available with TELUS.

Hey giantbrownguy and ThePopper I just tried the portal again this evening, and it looks like the Mac download has been updated. Instead of downloading the old Device Security for the Mac, the download is for Norton 360, which I was able to install on my Mac with Big Sur. Happy times!

It looks like the partner portal that TELUS has with Norton is still using an out of date version of Norton Here is a screenshot of the error from my Mac that's running Big Sur. The version of Norton that's crashing is 8.5.7f25 (which is the version in the Telus partner portal) Norton has said that the first version that supports Big Sur is 8.6. (https://support.norton.com/sp/en/ca/home/current/solutions/v119174366?inid=hho_supp_htm_home-cur-retail-topfaq-07-v119174366) Any news when the version will be updated in the portal, so customers using Big Sur will be able to download it? Thanks!

Ios13 and the Telus my WiFi app
Ran into a strange problem using ios13.1 beta and it looks like I was not able to my Telus Boost nodes since it could identify my home network, but my other phone still using ios12 doesn’t have the issue. I know we won’t get support using pre prelease versions of iOS, but just a word if anyone is running into this issue with iOS 13.1
