Re: Theme Channels not Accessible
None of the 4 Themes or the Premium are showing up. The core channels all work. I spent an hour with Tech Support's who couldn't correct it. He thought it was an issue with my house having old Optik gear and my parents having the new digital boxes, so created a new My Telus account login for my parents but that didn't work. Neither the Telus TV+ web interface nor the digital boxes will accept the new login. The error on the web is "The account associated with this token is unknown or not found" - similar error on the boxes. The Tech said that he also could not "see" the boxes on my parents network so took the SNs of the boxes. He's now kicked it up another layer in Tech Support.695Views0likes0CommentsTheme Channels not Accessible
I signed up for Telus TV service in a second location (my parents) and since the installation of the service earlier this week, they can't access most of the Theme channels in the subscription. The core channels work fine. My account on My Telus shows the correct themes and my initial contact with Telus (not Technical Support) indicated that everything seemed fine with the account. I haven't been able to connect with Technical Support on this topic due to long wait times, etc. I've rebooted everything with no change. Is there anything else I should be trying until I can get hold of Technical Support?797Views0likes2CommentsModern Hardware
My current setup uses a Nokia ONT feeding a T3200 modem. Wireless service is provided via 3 Boost Wifi units in various places in the house, one ethernet connected to the T3200 and two hardware connected via ECB6200 MOCA units. What modern Telus modem and booster hardware will replicate this setup?2.8KViews0likes4CommentsRe: Boost WiFi Interferes with Optik TV
I'm not using the Optik boxes via the Boost Wi-Fi. The Optik boxes and Boost Wi-Fi are ethernet connected to a switch which is connected to a MOCA which is connected to the T3200M modem. Are you saying that the Boost units and Optik boxes can't be hardwired in this manner?4KViews1like1CommentBoost WiFi Interferes with Optik TV
I recently added 3 Boost WiFi units to my network. Up until then I was using WiFi from a T3200M and WEB6000Q. Configuration is: 1) Nokia ONT --> T3200M 2) T3200M has some computers connected to it via a switch; 3) T3200M outputs coaxial, which Telus split outside into two coxial to provide ethernet via MOCA to two Optik boxes (one PVR and one 4K box). I've added switches to connect TVs, PS4, etc in addition to the Optik boxes. The setup has been working without problem for a couple years, but I wanted better WiFi coverage and to eliminate having two SSIDs (because of the WEB6000Q). The WEB6000Q was connected to the switch that also had the PVR connected. I removed the WEB6000Q and added the 3 Boost WiFi units via ethernet at the T3200M, and each of the switches. With this new setup, the Optik service at the PVR and 4K loses signal and freezes momentarily. I was able to track this down to happening when laptops reconnect to the WiFi from waking from sleep. I'm not sure if it also happens when other devices such as phones reconnect. I've tried rebooting the T3200M, the Boost WiFi units, and the Optik boxes - with the problem persisting. Any thoughts?Solved4KViews0likes3CommentsT3200M "Forgets" Port Forwarding?
I'm having an issue where every month or so, my T3200M seems to "forget" (i.e. the rule disappears from the list of forwarded ports) that port 32400 is forwarded to enable external access to my Plex server. Adding the port forwarding rule back into the router fixes the problem. Has anyone had this problem?2.3KViews0likes1Comment
