I'm having a similar problem. I have an older R7200 router but it is perfectly capable of IGMP Proxying, which I have enabled. I've been reading that the UIW8001/4001 expect to be on VLAN ID 33 (or some sources also say 7). I can't figure out how that could possibly make a difference but figured I'd share it. Is there anyone from Telus support that could provide some guidance in this area? I also hear that upgrading to the newest hardware doesn't require multicast so maybe that's the route to follow....but still I'm perfectly happy with my 8001 and don't want to upgrade for this simple issue.1KViews0likes0Comments
