Are these legit Telus numbers???
I received this text earlier today. Then received a phone call from this number +1(888)-811-2323 . I gave my address and pin to verify my account and then felt off about the whole thing so I hung up while I was put on hold, and blocked the number. I ended up receiving 4 voicemails from the man I spoke with about how something was wrong with my internet. He then sent me a text through the number 6400, the same number I get all of my monthly bill statements reminders sent from (I’ll attach screenshot). I then called 611 to see if this phone call showed up on my account and was legit but I requested a call back. When I got a call back it was from the number +1 (866) 558-2273. Both of the men I spoke to had very thick accents, there was TONS of noise in the background and no hold music, which I thought was fishy. The Second Gentleman I spoke with also couldn’t provide any proof that he was actually with Telus. Are any of these numbers legit Telus numbers? Am I overreacting?Re: Are these legit Telus numbers???
