Is this a scam? Sure looks like one.
I got a phone call from "Telus" offering me a 40% 2-year loyalty discount on my home and cell bills as well as a free cell phone. Sounded like a scam, so I hung up. They sent me this: Dear Customer, According to the Loyalty Program, TELUS is offering you 40% discount in your MOBILITY SERVICES. TELUS MOBILITY We are offering you a new iPhone 16 Pro 256 GB , free of any monthly charges. NOTE: "You will receive a new reduced bill, and that amount will be constant for the next 2 years." "You will be receiving the Tracking ID of your order in about 24 to 48 hours." "There will be 14 days trial period for you."
