    Hey TylerS3 if you're already an existing XBGU subscriber, you should've had the option to cancel your current/existing subscription through Microsoft as part of the setup process. If you didn't, your best bet would be to reach out to our Home Services team at 1-888-811-2323 so that they can look into that for you.

    A-B I was told I had to cancel, but was never setup... So I have to call in, cancel my current and then Telus re-sets me up?

    If you’ve just never had Xbox Game Pass, but have a Microsoft account exhausting, do you have to open a new account just to use the pass through Telus? The process is confusing so I’m holding off on setting up through Telus until I have all the answers. Cheers!

    Hey Tapnroll not sure what you mean by having your Microsoft account 'exhausting', unless you're referring to an existing Xbox Live account? If that's what you mean, and your current XBL account is about to expire, you can simply sign up with us for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate (which is basically Xbox Game Pass + Xbox Live together) and away you go.

    Good ol autocorrect. I meant existing. i have an existing Microsoft account and console already. Do I have to create a new account or just merge existing with my Telus account? I have not ever had an xbox game pass active on my Microsoft account. Thanks in advance A-B

    Tapnroll No, you can just reach out to our Home Services team at 1-888-811-2323 and they'll walk you through the process of cancelling your current XBL account and signing you up for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate through us.

     

    Also note that any remaining time you have on your current existing account is stored, so for example if you were to do it today with 2 months remaining on your current subscription...should you ever cancel with us and go back to the way you had it before, that 2 months would be saved and reinstated onto your XBL subscription.
