Community ManagerHey palominodrew! Great question...and unfortunately you're not going to like my answer.
Due to a renegotiated trade deal with the U.S. and Mexico, we're once again out of luck in terms of seeing American commercials. About five years back if you remember we were able to, but loss of revenue for Canadian companies led us to this new agreement. Once again the CRTC has again granted Canadian broadcasters (TSN, CTV, etc.) the ability to sub in their own commercials, so they'll do so.
For what it's worth, if you have a Twitter account, everything such as trailers and commercials will be all over the place, and you can bet that the next morning YouTube will have everything available to see anyways!
