Hey everyone! Hope you're doing well and enjoying the new year! February is right around the corner, and another month means another new batch of great movies and shows to check out on Optik TV! Let's take a look at some of the highly anticipated titles streaming in February as well as what I'm hooked on now! Coming in February February 5 - The Lincoln Lawyer (Season 4) - Netflix The return of Manuel Garcia-Rulfo as the iconic lawyer, back to tackle another thrilling case in this smash hit based on the series of novels. February 19 - The Night Agent (Season 3) - Netflix FBI agent Peter Sutherland returns in another season of the hit political thriller series. Most Anticipated The Lincoln Lawyer (Season 4) - Netflix Based on the bestselling novel series by Michael Connelly (also responsible for the fantastic 'Bosch' books/series), The Lincoln Lawyer is back. Manuel Garcia-Rulfo returns as Mickey Haller, Los Angeles' most dedicated defense attorney. Trouble seems to find Mickey in every season, and things seem no different this time around. After the shocking finale of Season 3 (no spoilers!) there's more than ever at stake now that Mickey himself is the client. With his reputation, and his very life, on the line, he'll need to do everything he can to prevail in the end. I'm a huge fan of this series. The writing is quick, the acting sharp, and there's enough cliffhangers in almost every episode to keep you coming back for more. Garcia-Rulfo definitely shines as the titular character, with a great supporting cast that's both well-rounded and hilarious. If you're a fan of political or courtroom thrillers, The Lincoln Lawyer is for you. All three seasons are streaming now so you have time to catch up before the new season drops February 5 only on Netflix! What I'm Watching Now Fallout (Season 2) - Prime Video I'm so pumped that Fallout is back! The megahit post-apocalyptic series based on the worldwide phenomenon video game series has returned for an action-packed second season! In this story, there are the haves and have-nots. Set about 200 years after the 'end of the world' bombs dropped, the denizens of a series of luxury fallout shelters underground are forced to return topside into a world full of radiation, mutated creatures, raiders, and countless other dangers. This series centers around Lucy MacLean, a citizen of Vault 33 as she returns to the surface chasing after her father, who has a lot of things to answer for after the nuclear decimation of the planet. She partners unwittingly with Cooper Howard, a former actor who has since mutated into a ghoul, making his way as a gunslinger and bounty hunter. While fans of the video games will undoubtedly love the series, there's a lot to love for the uninitiated. If you're a fan of over-the-top humor and action, combined with a star-studded cast and fantastic special effects, you're sure to love Fallout. À venir en septembre 2 septembre - Mercredi (Saison 2 - partie 2) - Netflix La dernière moitié des épisodes de la deuxième saison du succès Netflix sur l'effrayante Wednesday Addams. 18 septembre - Black Rabbit - Netflix Série à suspense très attendue sur un restaurateur de New York forcé dans le monde criminel de New York par son frère. Avec Jude Law et Jason Bateman. Les plus attendus Black Rabbit - Netflix Cette mini-série mettant en vedette Jude Law et Jason Bateman a l'air fantastique. J'ai vraiment l'impression de voir Ozark qui rencontre Breaking Bad et The Bear. Jude Law est le propriétaire d'un nouveau restaurant et d'un club VIP à New York, qui semble se frayer un chemin vers le sommet. Cependant, tout est menacé lorsque son frère troublé (Jason Bateman) revient, apportant le danger avec lui et forçant les frères dans une situation de vie ou de mort déchirante. Ce thriller de 8 épisodes est définitivement le genre de série que je dévore. Avec ces deux stars dans les rôles principaux, et Bateman lui-même à la réalisation aux côtés de grands noms tels que Ben Semanoff (Ozark, Yellowjackets), vous savez que ça va être palpitant. Je suis un grand fan des histoires avec des personnages troublés qu’on ne peut s’empêcher de soutenir, qui font face à des choses qui deviennent incontrôlables à chaque pas qu'ils font. Cela crée du bon suspense et c'est donc un divertissement à ne pas manquer. Ne ratez pas tous les épisodes de Black Rabbit le 18 septembre, en exclusivité sur Netflix! Ce que je regarde en ce moment Les Osbourne - Prime Video Qui n'aime pas le Prince des Ténèbres? Tous les métalleux comme moi doivent tout à Ozzy et ressentent énormément sa perte. Quelle meilleure façon de passer un peu de temps en revisitant sans doute la toute première série de télé-réalité... Les Osbournes! Au début des années 2000, MTV a été autorisé à vivre à l'intérieur de la maison d'Ozzy et à le suivre, lui et sa famille, pendant quelques années et les résultats sont à la fois réconfortants et hilarants. C'est un bon moment de suivre Ozzy, Sharon, Jack et Kelly pour voir comment une famille parfois dysfonctionnelle traverse la vie quotidienne. Cela peut être difficile lorsque le père est une rockstar légendaire dans le monde entier, mais ils s'en sortent. Ma partie préférée de cette série est bien sûr Ozzy lui-même, mais plus encore de le voir affronter les problèmes d'un père comme moi. Chasser le chat dehors alors qu'il s'enfuit presque, faire face à un aspirateur bruyant qui l'empêche de regarder ses films de guerre à la télévision. Let's take a look at some of the highly anticipated titles streaming in September as well as what I'm hooked on now! Coming in September September 2 - Wednesday (Season 2 - Part 2) - Netflix The final half of episodes in the second season of the Netflix hit about spooky Wednesday Addams. September 18 - Black Rabbit - Netflix Highly anticipated thriller series about a New York restaurateur forced into NYC's criminal underworld by his brother. Starring Jude Law and Justin Bateman. Most Anticipated Black Rabbit This limited series starring Jude Law and Jason Bateman looks fantastic. I definitely get the vibe of Ozark meets Breaking Bad meets The Bear. Jude Law is the owner of a hot new New York restaurant and VIP club who's seemingly working his way to the top. Everything however is threatened when his troubled brother (Jason Bateman) returns, bringing danger with him and forcing the brothers into a harrowing life or death situation. This 8 episode thriller is definitely the type of series that I binge through. With these two stars in the leading roles, and Bateman himself directing along with greats such as Ben Semanoff (Ozark, Yellowjackets) you know it's going to be pulse pounding stuff. I'm a huge fan of stories with troubled characters you still root for, dealing with things that are spiraling out of control with every step they take. It makes for some great cliffhangers and must-watch entertainment. Look for all the episodes of Black Rabbit on September 18, only on Netflix! What I'm Watching Now The Osbournes - Prime Video Who doesn't love the Prince of Darkness? Any metalheads such as myself owe everything to Ozzy and feel his loss immensely. What better way to spend some time by revisiting arguably the first reality TV series ever... The Osbournes! In the early 2000's, MTV was allowed to basically live inside Ozzy's house and follow him and his family around for a few years and the results are both heartwarming and hilarious. It's great times following Ozzy, Sharon, Jack, and Kelly around to see just how a sometimes dysfunctional family makes it through everyday life. It can be difficult when the father is a worldwide legendary rockstar, but they figure it out. My favourite part of this series is of course Ozzy himself, but more so watching him deal with the issues of a father just like myself. Chasing the cat outside when it almost runs away, to dealing with a loud vacuum getting in the way of him watching his war movies on TV.
