What are my options, if any, for using my Telus phone in the Caribbean, particularly Barbados? The only country there actually seems to be a travel plan for is the US.

I understand that there are additional charges and plans for data usage outside of Canada, but does it cost extra to use data (or text, for that matter) if I travel from Toronto to Vancouver?
I see. So you say that your local area moves with you? So if I was on the other side of Canada with my 647 number, I could make "local" calls to numbers in that area? What about them calling me?
I use the Telus "My Account" app which has a section for travel plans. If I choose anything except the US it says no plan is offered. Could it be because I'm under a corporate plan?
