Now that more details have been revealed on Stadia, specifically the fact that it's an 11.99/month subscription price but then have to buy the individuals games (except for Destiny 2). Google said they'd have Destiny 2 available as part of the 11.99 subscription price and would build up this library over time, but no commitment on the the number of games or what games are included in the price
What are your thoughts - would you subscribe to get access to one game? Will you buy games on Stadia and pay the 11.99 subscription price to access them as part of the cloud gaming offer?
I'm still very much interested in it, though want to perhaps let it breathe for a bit before jumping in. Now that Game Pass Ultimate is the free Game Pass library and the XBL monthly fee all in one cheaper price, it's hard to be lured away. You can tell that MS and SONY are more than well aware that subscription based...well, everything is where media is quickly headed.
If it's amazing when it releases and there aren't any issues, I'm considering for sure.
Now that we're getting close to launch day, thoughts on the launch day lineup of titles?
- Destiny 2: The Collection
- Red Dead Redemption 2
- Tomb Raider Definitive Edition
- Rise of the Tomb Raider
- Shadow of the Tomb Raider Definitive Edition
- Mortal Kombat 11
- Assassin's Creed Odyssey
- Just Dance 2020
- Samurai Shodown
Seems a bit sparse to me, but they've already said December will bring more titles, including other AAA games like Borderlands 3, etc. Anyone going to be giving Stadia a go?
