Welcome to the Nintendo thread! Just in time for MAR10 Day too. Hard to find anyone that isn't a Nintendo fan in some way...I know I've still got my NES kicking around. Nothing beats blazing through Castlevania now and again.

There's so much going on in the world of Nintendo, it seems sorta hard to keep up sometimes. From the remastered Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening, to the new Smash Bros. game, it's always exciting to see what they're cooking up.

Anyone else have a Switch? I've always wanted one, maybe just to have the ability to play Skyrim wherever I am, but I'm still on the fence about it lol.

I got a Switch last month, zero regrets. Got all the big titles - Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Super Mario Deluxe/Tennis/Odyssey, Super Smash Bros, and Octopath Traveller. But the surprising hit is Snipperclips, awesome co-op game for my gf and I to play together.

Anyone else have a favorite co-op game?

Are you still happy with your Switch? The kids are playing with one downstairs and they seem to have fun playing Mario but I'm more like a Zelda guy, is the last Zelda game worth it?

Rumor has it Nintendo is doing a switch hardware refresh soon. Might want to hold off if thinking of getting one.

Thanks for the update, I think I saw an article about it earlier.

@psl Does the switch stutter or drop frame rate with complex scenes or any artifacts. Thinking of getting one but might hold off because of the hardware refresh tumour.

From the latest rumors, the "budget" switch model should still allow docking (dock sold separately to keep costs down) with an "enhanced" model possibly coming later.

In terms of performance the switch is fine for first party/switch exclusive titles. BOTW pushes it and there will be the odd frame drop but other than that it's still loads of fun.

I've had mine since launch and would still call it a great purchase now (online is free for 1yr if you're a prime member and redeem before July I think)

If you're not in a rush see what's announced at E3 in June.

- A Dark Crystal game (!!!)

- A ton of new games for the Switch.

Great time to be a Nintendo fan!
