Am I the only one who has no problems connecting to optik tv in their house using an iPhone or iPad but it’s hit and miss with the Telus supplied android boxes. The apple devices can be further from the Wifi router but work faithfully. Can’t go back to co-axial cable as Shaw/Rogers is providing the same allegedly better technology.

What’s your wifi situation? Router, booster…your gear or Telus’?

I have a Telus router, 3 Telus digital tv boxes, that’s it. All the digital boxes have issues either frequently or infrequently with establishing a connection with the router. Currently the most troublesome is in the same room as the router and probably 5-6 m from the router with no obstructions between it and the router. I can always when using my iPad or iPhone access Telus TV from anywhere in the house, often further from the router than the digital tv boxes.

First thing, I would say the distant boxes need a booster to reach them. Unfortunately, the android boxes are somewhat flaky from what I read, which is why I’m still on the old Optik boxes still. 20+ year old tech, but it MOSTLY works.
As for the router, meh, it’s probably what you’re going to get. Is it the T3200M, the black/purplish thing? Or is it the infamous “trashcan” white cylinder?

Is there any way you can wire the box closest to the T3200M to the box? I’m almost thinking the T3200 still has multicast running, and that’s messing with your Android boxes.
