is it possible to use a NON-Telus brand Android box for Pik TV?
(like the many Android boxes that are available on Amazon etc. for about $50-150)
ie., install the Telus Pik TV app, and have it work properly with full functionality
if so, are there any critical minimum specs?
thanks

At this point it still does not work even if you sideload the Pik TV app...still waiting for the powers that be to include us as well perhaps once they finish with Apple TV bugs.

sure I can totally understand that... yes, let's get the Telus box working smoothly and reliably!
I had just figured that every Android box was essentially the same, except for maybe the version of Android O/S it was using, so that Pik TV could run on any device, in the same way that PC software can run properly on any computer running Windows O/S

...and, I'm thinking ahead for possible alternative solutions if I can't get my Telus-branded box and Pik TV to work properly (which at this point, I can't)
thanks

sure, but I got my Telus box for $25, hard to argue with that
and it seems to work quite nicely so far for Netflix anyway...................

I did see today the FAQ by Telus that PIK subscribers can use two devices on PIK at the same time.
