YouTube sign in not working?

Hi,

Am I the only one not being able to sign in with the new YouTube app (version 47fe3143, Cobalt 11.121419-gold)

My previous version of The YouTube app was working fine and I tried clearing the YouTube app data.

I went to the Google Play Store app to see if there were any updates and it prompted me for signing-in (works now). I should have known the Google account is shared across all their apps and not specific to YouTube.

So bottom line: this version of the YouTube app is unable to sign-in, but you can use any other Google app to do the sign-in and then you are signed-in in YouTube automatically.
