Why can't we get Free Previews on Pik TV?

It seems somewhat disingenuous that we cannot get Free Previews on Pik TV. I know it's easy to switch amongst the channels to which we subscribe, but it seems silly not to be able to access Free Preview channels when a free preview is being offered. I used to be able to do it when I had Optik TV, why don't we have the same access with Pik TV? Isn't the point of offering Free Previews so that one may subscribe to that channel and perhaps increase viewership (and revenue) for the network? Is this coming to Pik TV?

PikTV is not a “premium” service and doesn’t offer the full selection of channels like Optik TV.

PikTV is geared more towards the cord cutters. They still want some channel selection, without paying the higher price and don’t mind the limited channel selection.

With the low cost model, you lose the “perks” (free previews, record, time shift, fwd/rwd etc.)
