Replacing the batteries on my PikTV remote

OK, I may be going crazy but I can't seem to figure out how to open the back of the remote so that I can change the batteries?!?! Help?

I just put my thumbnail against the seam on the back, press down a bit, and slide the back down. It can be a bit finicky.

Or, press down at the seam at centre back, and use your nail to hook the outside edge of the battery cover.

Not much to grip on unfortunately. Try using one of those silicone lid gripper pads or a wide rubber band. If all else fails go for the duct tape, it fixes everything.
