PikTV Home icon on program in guide

What does the Home icon on a program in the PikTV guide mean?
Is it the station that you go to when selecting ‘back’? If so, how can the default be changed?

Does it look like what is shown on channels 119 and 121 in the screenshot below?

If so - this means that the content is restricted to in-home access only. This means that either the channel or the show can only be watched when connected to your TELUS home internet.  You won't be able to watch the channel or show 'on-the-go' and you'll see a message pop up if you try to watch over LTE or another WiFi. The vast majority of channels on Pik TV can be viewed both in-home and out-of-home, but there are some exceptions. In 'The Basics' (included in all combos), this includes Omni Vancouver (BC-only), ChekTV (BC-only), YesTV (AB-only) and the Aboriginal People's Television Network (BC and AB). There are a limited number of specific shows that are only available in-home but this varies from channel to channel, is extremely rare and I've never encountered an issue.

Those that have an icon on my guide all have a line through them, even those accessible through the Home selection on the initial PikTV screen. Do yours appear without the line?

Hi @Sillypup5

The logos show up in the guide even if you're connected to your home internet. Are you not able to watch these channels?

When you go to Settings --> Account info within the Pik TV app, what is your  'In Home status'? Does it say 'Not connected at home' or 'Connected at home'? Have you tried turning off and on your wifi from the Android TV home screen, or rebooting the box when disconnected from wifi?

If these troubleshooting steps don't work, you may need to call 310-MYTV for troubleshooting.

Thank you. It did say I was connected at home but still wouldn’t play the channels, I just rebooted it while not connected to wifi and they are working now. Thank you so much!!
