Pik tv on apple is terrible, is it better experience with Google Chromecast?

I have the Apple TV 4k, connected via ethernet cable and gigabit internet with Telus.

For the past 8+ month having issue with TV lagging and stuff like most people here and no update from Telus on it.

My question is if I get an google Chromecast if the experience with PikTV better? I use to have the crappy android box before and the Apple was a great upgrade. But for the past 8 month, it basicly laggin for 5-8 second. Sound keep going but the image freeze.

Look at the forum, I'm not the only one with this issues. This has been an issue for more then 1 person, so clearly there is an issue.
