Pik TV bugs

The PikTV app is still pretty buggy. It freezes frequently, the picture disappears until I restart the entire unit, it's unbearably slow while navigating through shows. Is it just me, or has this stayed at pretty much the same level since PikTV launched?

A Software update is needed, and many issues have been pointed out to the developers of the app. When an update is coming though is anyone's guess.

The PikTV device not utilizing a quad core and opting for a dual core processor slows things down considerably IMHO. Also I feel the device needs 3gb memory rather then 2gb. The longer it's used it bogs down, then becomes unresponsive.

It's definitely a step in the right direction and hopefully an upgraded device is in the works.

I got an app update for Pik the other day actually. Stable so far.

The android tv app of PikTV is 1.70.205 Dated Mar 24, 2017. iOS had an app update 1.70.4 the other day.

I gave up on this service and went ahead and cancelled it with just under 30 days of use.

It was unbearable to use, as described by others. A horrible execution of UI/UX design. Poor hardware, inefficient and glitchy software...enough major bugs and crashes that I can count on fingers and toes...

There is no way im giving away $500/year for this kind of service.
