Not working with Chromecast with Google TV

My app will not work and gives me the following error: no protocol

My first recommendation would be to delete and uninstall the app and try fresh, ensuring that your Google account is set to Canada (probably not the issue here, but doesn't hurt to check). Failing that, can you please provide a few more details so that I can work with the technical folks to troubleshoot?


Have you ever been able to use the Pik TV app successfully on Chromecast with Google TV?

When do you see this error? During navigation, watching live TV, On Demand?

Are you able to log in successfully? Browse content? Or do you get the error when you try to launch the app?

I did reinstall but the same error. It was working before, about a month or more ago. I can login fine and browse everything but nothing will play.

Same issue on my Samsung S21 but my older S9 works no issues, Telus phone-in support tells me it's sounding like it's my Samsung?
