Netflix audio - popping / clicking

Experiencing annoying audio pops / clicks while watching Netflix content on the Pik TV box. This does not occur while watching the same Netflix content through the same TV/audio system via an Apple TV box. So far, I have not had this occur in any other app on the Pik TV box, only in Netflix.

Should I report details here or directly to Netflix?

Reboot the PikTV device, and see if the issue persists.

Seems like it would be worth contacting Netflix for this (https://help.netflix.com/en).

I've been trying and trying to reproduce the issue, and can't. Audio sounds perfect now on all the Netflix assets I've tried. So I guess it's fixed.

Currently experiencing popping every ~30 seconds on both STB's. Not present on other devices.

This is seriously distracting.

I'm having the same sound issue. March 2nd. Been happening for a couple weeks now. Basic voice is fine but anytime there is a lot of complex sounds or bass it crackles.

I'm definitely experiencing the same thing with Telus TV Netflix app. And I guarantee it's definitely the Telus TV audio that is making the popping sound. I know this because I connected my Google Chromecast and played the same audio track and didn't experience the popping sound. I tested it on three different TVs

Try testing it by watching Doctor Strange on Netflix. Go to the 52-minute mark and listen to the popping sound. I can really notice it at this point. I connected my Chromecast and played the same 52 minute mark and there was no popping sound

I went to the 52min mark (51:50) and listened for about 5mins but there was no popping through the piktv app. I tried it on 2 tvs, one outputting analog audio to a 2.1 speaker system and the other to a soundbar through hdmi. Try a factory reset of the box and see if that solves it. If it doesn't, you could request a replacement box if you're in the 1yr warranty period.
