I just had telus internet installed today with Pik TV. I installed the App on my iPhone 6 and iPad but I am receiving this error on both devices: "Something unexpected happened. Please try again later. (LP 1008)". I have the Pik TV box but haven't set it up yet as our moving truck doesn't get here for two more days with our TV. Do I have to set up the box before I can access Pik TV on the app?

No, you do not need the device set up to access PikTv on your iOS devices. I'm guessing the back end is not yet fully set up. If not working by tomorrow evening, you should be able to touch base with Telus, either through the Tech, or directly to Telus CSR to have it addressed.

Check out https://www.telus.com/en/bc/support/article/error-lp1008-on-pik-tv

If you are still having issues I would use your laptop (not available on mobile devices) and use the Support Chat it can be found here https://www.telus.com/en/bc/support/contact-us?lang=en&prov=bc&INTCMP=VAN_contact-us

Just to clarify the tech will not have any way to help you because Pik TV is a self-installed self-managed product that gives customers control over their TV viewing experience. Customers are also required to enter their personal credentials during setup, such as their Google and TELUS My Account details. Technicians are unable to assist with Pik TV installation or service issues.
