Hidden SSID setup

When trying to setup the box to a hidden SSID wifi connection.  It will not allow me to setup using the phone.  I need to use the remote to do the setup manually.

@xl can you help me understand what you mean by a hidden SSID?  Can your phone detect it?

A hidden SSID means your wifi router is not broadcasting the wifi address. My phone, computers and other devices are able to see it because it's manually configured.

It would be ideal in the Telus box allows for manual entry like with the remote.

@xl ah okay.  So when you ran your first time installer you used your phone to connect to wifi and you couldn't type in a hidden SSID?
