Why does PVR keep crashing?

It seems to crash a lot using TV apps like YouTube and Netflix.

What Receiver do you have ? No issues with the arris 4K boxes i have. Use it all the time for Netflix and YouTube.

My crash yesterday put me out of commission for almost a full day.

Don't use Youtube much but have had more than a few crashes with Netflix and the 4K Arris box. Usually happens while navigating menus. Most recent crash was just a few days ago. I just disabled the autoplay options so I'm hoping that might rectify the issue. Netflix finally made that available:
