Unable to sign into Global and Fox News on Roku using Optik TV credentials

i can sign into and use the Optik TV iOS app and through the web browser, but I am unable to get it to work on Roku

TELUS has no working “channels” their own or third party that use optik login credentials for Roku. No carrier in Canada supports them.
