TV displays "No Signal"


I turned off the TV last night and it was working perfectly but when I turned it on this morning, I see a message "No Signal".  The green light on the box was off, so I turned the power on and it went through a host of tasks, but in the end I still had no signal.  I tried several more times and eventually I got the signal and the TV was operating again.  But, if I turn it off am I going to be faced with the same problem.  The router lights are on, the power is on (I unplugged the TV and routers , turned the box on several times, and so on and so on) But, why is this happening in the first place?  I did not do anything different to the TV or the power sources.  Anybody have an answer.

This happens every once in awhile.Turning off won't change anything as far as I know.
