Satellite On Demand AND PPV not working

Harald
Neighbour

Ever since I moved, my On Demand and PPV are not working. It's been 5 months, and Telus still hasn't figured out, or are making excuses, for this. I get the same error message each time, when I call, they tell me the error means we've ordered too many movies. I wish that were true, because we haven't been able to order ANY movies.

I've had nothing but problems with the service since we moved. Everything worked great when we lived in White Rock, but now with the move to Langley, I've had nothing but problems. We went through 5 PVR's before we finally got one where everything we have on our account actually showed up in the guide. Yet we still don't have VoD or PPV working. Last time they told me it was a problem with the supplier of the content. Also, since we are in a rural area, Telus Fibre, and associated Optik, are not available.

I am this || close to cancelling my sat TV and switching to Shaw, because as far as I am concerned, Telus has NOT lived up to the contract, and in essence, have already broken the contract with me.

What is the error message you are getting with this issue?

006 Your order cannot be processed. Please call customer service.

I make the call, the automated system asks for my PIN, I punch in my PIN, and then it loops asking for my PIN.

There should be an option to bypass the PIN request, as some folks completely forget theirs, and still need to talk to a CSR.

It doesn't matter, even they can't get it to work, and considering how long it takes to get someone on the line, even if it did work, I'm not going to take 10 or 15 minutes to order a movie. I'll switch to Netflix or Prime first.

Hi Harald, our technical support team should be able to help! They can be reached by phone at 1-888-811-2323, or via online chat, here: https://www.telus.com/en/support/contact-us?linktype=footer

I've been on the phone with tech support so often over the last 5 months, and nothing has been resolved. I still have the issue after this length of time.

Can you please send me a PM with the details? I will be sure to have this looked into for you.

I believe this has something to do with PPV credit limit which is usually $150, You need to contact TELUS to request an increased credit limit.
