Hi,

I am trying to set up a series recording of CBC's National which airs at 6pm PDT on CBC News Channel (800).  CBC News Channel broadcasts the National every hour until 11pm on weekdays.  When I try to do a series recording it records three episodes in a row (6, 7, + 8pm). I just want the 6:00pm slot. I can't select a specific time.  It just says "Any day around 6pm".  How do I do this?  I have tried all the settings to no avail.  Manual recording does not work either -- it doesn't have a series option.

Have you considered recording it on the local or timeshifted east coast broadcast, instead of  channel 800? It may include a local broadcast, but only one instance per day.

There are 3 editions of The National.
