I was told that I could have YouTube in my spare room , for which I think when Telus upgraded my pvr in
my family he gave me to understand that I would be able to watch in the spare room too, however,
i now get a message saying need to upgrade your box.... is this true or do I have to reset anything
YouTube is only available on specific boxes. Which make/model of box do you have in the spare room?

I have and older CIS330 box in our spare room and it gives me the 'upgrade' message when I attempt to use YouTube. Otherwise it works fine (including Netflix). I was told I could get an upgraded box for a monthly fee but I can't justify it as I rarely use YouTube.
