Program JVC TV to Telus remote

I have a JVC tv model #LT-50EC3502. I want to program it to my slimline remote but I tried all the codes I could find and followed the directions. All I get at best is the red light in the tv blinks or stays on but the tv will not shut off. Any suggestions?

JVC outsourced manufacturing of North American models to another company a long time ago. They then changed manufacturers to a Chinese one in 2018. Depending what year that TV was manufactured, it may be hit or miss as to which codes they are using, if they are even still using the JVC codes.

If you have the Slimline 2 remote, the JVC codes are as follows:

1183  1184  1663  1638  1597  1376
1312  1201  1176  1898  1757  1662
1402  1208  1185

Yes I did, no luck. The tv was just bought this week.

I just purchased a JVC, Model LT-50EC3508 and haven’t found a code that works (I have the original optic slimline remote)

The original Slimline remote is an older remote and if you have a newer TV, there are no guarantees it'll work. Hopefully you'll get lucky and the new manufacturer kept using the old JVC codes.

Hi @MikeDawe I have a JVC TV model number LT-50EC3502 and remote code 1072 or T1072 worked for me. I'm using the PDP Talon Media Remote for Xbox One.
