My Optik pvr has just developed a problem with playing back recordings. Older recordings play ok but recent ones occasionally freeze for several seconds and then resumes. Part of the program is missed during the freeze. My guess is this is an issue with recording rather than playback. I may try to contact Telus by phone but I am not optimistic about having success with that.
I've seen that playback issue before. It happens when there are server/Internet/LAN interruptions during the recording so it's actually recoded that way. It won't be possilbe to recover that recording. Try a making new recording to see if the issue is still there.
