PVR does not record

For the last 3 days my PVR is not recording.

It does not record schedule recording nor live recording (clicking the record button while watching).

 

I have tried everything: resetting the box. unplugged and plug it back in, resetting the modem/router, unplugged and plug it back in, unplugging everything in the house and plug it back in, and nothing works.

 

Does anyone have any idea why and how can I fix this?

Can you play old recordings?

What happens if you delete a few old recordings, and try again?

Yes, I can play old recordings.
I have tried to delete a lot of my recordings (I now have 85% free space), but it still won't record anything.

Any idea what could be the reason?

Given those results, I believe a call to Telus for trouble-shooting is your next logical step.

Are you on the actual PVR when you set the recording or are you on another box?

What happens when you press the record button on the remote? Do you get an error it does nothing happen?

Have you tried using the record menu item when viewing the program info?

Have you tried using the mobile app to set a recording? If the app works but not the PVR then the problem is not with your account.

I am on the actual box.

When I press the record button, it says recording, but not really recording and the red light does not come on.

Yes, I have tried everything and it does not work. Even when I'm using the app.

It sounds like the issue is with your account (server) then. You will need to contact TELUS to diagnose the problem.

How did you do? Was the problem resolved? I can press record and it goes through, but like with your problem, shows program is being recorded but no play back ability for live or scheduled recordings. I have not had the chance the verify with a qualified tech. A call was made prior and a non tech call taker took my concern but was unable to help. Due to Covid no actual tech was available.
